Common use of Length of Stay Clause in Contracts

Length of Stay. 2.3.1. Any beneficiary receiving residential services pursuant to the County’s Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System, regardless of the length of stay, is a "short-term resident" of the residential facility. The length of residential services range from 1 to 90 days with a 90-day maximum for adults; unless medical necessity authorizes a one-time extension of up to 30 days on an annual basis. Only two non-continuous 90-day regimens will be authorized in a one-year period.
