Leave for Elected Officers. 12.09 (a) (i) Upon the request of the Union, employees elected as President or Vice-Presidents of the Union of Northern Workers or the Public Service Alliance of Canada or for the President of the Northern Territories Federation of Labour shall be granted leave of absence for the term of office. During the leave of absence such employees shall maintain all accumulated rights and benefits to which they are entitled under the Collective Agreement.
