L E T T E R O F A G R E E M E N T. 3 THE PURPOSE OF THIS LETTER OF AGREEMENT IS TO SET FORTH THE 4 FOLLOWING AGREEMENT(S) BETWEEN BREMERTON PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION 5 ASSOCIATION (BPEA) AND THE BREMERTON SCHOOL DISTRICT #100-C. THIS 6 AGREEMENT IS ENTERED INTO PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIX, SECTION 19.2 OF THE 7 CURRENT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT. 8 10 The parties agree that: 12 When the following employee is employed as a secondary paraeducator, who is regularly assigned to 13 students that exhibit aggressive/combative behaviors, he will be eligible to receive an additional 14 seventy ($.70) per hour. OF THE 7 CURRENT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING 7 AGREEMENT. 8 10 The parties agree thatagree: 11 12 When That incumbent employees in the following positions which have been newly reclassified into the Transportation 13 classification (Bus Assistant) will retain their seniority in their former classification and, with the 14 effective date of the 2021 (CBA) Collective Bargaining Agreement 9/1/21, will begin to accrue 15 seniority in their position’s new classification (with a hire date of 9/1/21). In the event one (1) of these 16 employees is riffed or laid off from the position he/she held prior to the reclassification, that employee is employed as 17 will receive the benefit of his/her prior seniority for recall purposes if the same or a secondary paraeducator, who is regularly assigned to 13 students that exhibit aggressive/combative behaviors, he will be eligible to receive an additional 14 seventy ($.70) per hoursubstantially 18 similar position becomes available.
