Common use of Interpretation and Intent Clause in Contracts

Interpretation and Intent. 3.1 This Agreement is authorized by and entered into in accordance with the design-build requirements of RCW 39.10, and shall be interpreted to be consistent with the requirements of those statutory provisions. Design-Builder and Owner, prior to execution of the Agreement (and again, at the time of execution of the GMP Exhibit), shall carefully review all the Contract Documents, including the various documents comprising the Basis of Design Documents, for any conflicts or ambiguities. Design-Builder and Owner will discuss and resolve any identified conflicts or ambiguities prior to execution of the Agreement and prior to execution of the GMP Exhibit.
