INSURANCE 4. 3.1 Unless otherwise specified in contract documents, the contractor shall procure or cause to be procured and maintain (as provided herein), at no cost to the City, during the life of this contract and any extensions thereof, all insurance to cover the operations under this contract, that may be required under the laws, ordinances or regulations of any governmental authority, including but not limited to the coverages below. The contractor shall either include all tiers of subcontractors, if any, under the policies required under paragraphs 2 through 4, to the extent permitted by law, or shall require all subcontractors to maintain coverages described in paragraphs 1 through 4. 1.
