Instructional Material. Courses offered for dual credit will be identified in the course schedule as college-level courses. Instruction and materials for dual credit courses will be equivalent or identical to courses taught to traditional university students. When possible, UTPB will: (i) utilize open resource textbooks for all dual credit courses, and (ii) utilize the same textbook for multiple years. District shall be responsible for providing all academic textbooks to students.
Instructional Material. Upon receipt of a valid claim, the District shall reimburse a Unit member for the loss, destruction, or damage by arson, burglary, or vandalism of personal property used for instruction in the school(s) of the District and not reimbursed by insurance; provided that said items have been registered with the District in accordance with the provisions of this Article. Reimbursement or repairs shall be limited to items having a combined value exceeding fifteen ($15) dollars at the time of damage. In order to qualify for reimbursement: 1. It is the responsibility of the Unit member to provide his/her immediate supervisor or designee with a list of property used for instructional purposes and housed in the classroom. If the use of the Unit member's vehicle is required by the District to perform assigned duties, such instructional materials, when listed in the above manner and when enclosed in the locked vehicle during the work day, shall also be covered by this Article. 2. It is also the responsibility of the Unit member to register with his/her immediate supervisor or designee personal property to be temporarily utilized for instructional purposes in the classroom. 3. The condition and value of the Unit member's property must be agreed to by the Unit member and the immediate supervisor or designee at the time such property is listed and/or registered.
Instructional Material. The principal shall advise the faculty of the amount of monies available for the purchase of supplies, materials, and equipment for the coming school year. The principal, with the building level planning team, after considering input and commendations from the faculty, will develop plans for the expenditure of these funds.

  • Instructional Materials A. The Board recognizes that appropriate texts, library reference facilities, maps and globes, laboratory equipment, audio-visual equipment, art supplies, athletic equipment, current periodicals, standard tests and questionnaires, computers, and similar materials are the tools of the teaching profession. B. Efforts shall be continued to seek and use instructional materials which reflect the contribution and presence of diverse ethnic and cultural groups. C. 1. Selection of instructional materials for each school shall be made by a committee of teachers chosen by the faculty within that school.

  • Promotional Material In the event that the Fund or the Investment Adviser makes available any promotional materials related to the Securities or the transactions contemplated hereby intended for use only by registered broker-dealers and registered representatives thereof by means of an Internet web site or similar electronic means, the Investment Adviser will install and maintain or will cause to be installed and maintained, pre-qualification and password-protection or similar procedures which are reasonably designed to effectively prohibit access to such promotional materials by persons other than registered broker-dealers and registered representatives thereof.

  • INSTRUCTIONAL MINUTES a) When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, the total number of instructional minutes per school day provided by CONTRACTOR shall be at least equivalent to the number of instructional minutes per school day provided to LEA students at like grade level, attending LEA schools, unless otherwise specified in the student’s IEP/IFSP, and shall be specified in the LEA student’s ISA developed in accordance with the LEA student’s IEP/IFSP. b) For NPS students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12, unless otherwise specified in the LEA student’s IEP/IFSP, the number of instructional minutes, excluding recess, lunch, and passing time, shall be at least the minimum as specified in Education Code Sections 46110-46147, and in no case will be less than the amount as specified in the IEP/IFSP. In addition, the total number of annual instructional minutes shall be at least equivalent to the total number of annual instructional minutes provided to LEA students attending LEA schools in like grade level unless otherwise specified in the LEA student’s IEP/IFSP. c) When CONTRACTOR is a NPA and/or related services provider, the total number of minutes per school day provided by CONTRACTOR shall be specified in the LEA student’s ISA developed in accordance with the LEA student’s IEP/IFSP.

  • BOOKS AND INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS The total cost of books and instructional materials for school district students participating as part of this CCAP agreement will be borne by school district.
