Initiative on Fluorocarbons. Life Cycle ManagementThe Participants will cooperate on activities under the Initiative on Fluorocarbons Life Cycle management to promote emission control measures throughout the life cycle of fluorocarbons, taking into account the mid- and downstream areas that have not been tackled so far.  ADB will explore the possibility of setting up a regional knowledge and support technical assistance (KSTA) for (1) raising awareness (2) technical capacity building and (3) assessing potential for using available technological and other solutions to reducing emission of fluorocarbons in selected countries in Asia and the Pacific. MOEJ will, in collaboration with the ADB’s TA, support the selected countries to develop a strategy for fluorocarbons life cycle management and will share knowledge and experience on technologies by involving private sector as well as on policy and legal framework on fluorocarbons life cycle management in Japan.  MOEJ will conduct model projects for collection and destruction of fluorocarbons, as well as investigate the possibility of introducing systems and the potential for reductions, and support the implementation of integrated measures to control fluorocarbons emissions in developing countries in Southeast Asia. Based on results of the model projects, the Participants will cooperate on formation of scaled-up projects exploring the possible use of JFJCM.  MOEJ will also have meetings on cooperation with these developing countries and share advanced systems and latest technologies in cooperation with ADB.

  • Dangerous Goods, Special Wastes, Pesticides and Harmful Substances Where employees are required to work with or are exposed to any dangerous good, special waste, pesticide or harmful substance, the Employer shall ensure that the employees are adequately trained in the identification, safe handling, use, storage, and/or disposal of same.

  • Explosives Explosives or other highly flammable substances shall not be stored on Railroad's property without the prior written approval of Railroad.

  • Prohibition Against Selecting and Installing Products Containing Hazardous Materials The Contractor shall not select, install or otherwise incorporate any products or materials containing Hazardous Materials within the boundaries of the Site. Should the Contractor or any Subcontractors have knowledge that, or believe that, an item, component, material, substance, or accessory within a product or assembly selected by the Contractor or any Subcontractor may contain Hazardous Materials it is the Contractor’s responsibility to secure a written certification from the manufacturer of any suspected material which identifies the specific Hazardous Material(s) contained, together with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for such materials which shall be submitted to the Owner and Design Professional.

  • Pesticide Prohibition Tenant shall comply with the provisions of Section 308 of Chapter 3 of the San Francisco Environment Code (the “Pesticide Ordinance”) which (i) prohibit the use of certain pesticides on City property, (ii) require the posting of certain notices and the maintenance of certain records regarding pesticide usage and (iii) require Tenant to submit to the Airport an integrated pest management (“IPM”) plan that (a) lists, to the extent reasonably possible, the types and estimated quantities of pesticides that Tenant may need to apply to the Premises during the terms of this Lease,

  • Pesticides In accordance with Section 17-1209 of the Administrative Code, to the extent that the Contractor or any Subcontractor applies pesticides to any property owned or leased by the City, the Contractor and any Subcontractor shall comply with Chapter 12 of the Administrative Code.

  • PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTS WITH COMPANIES BOYCOTTING ISRAEL CERTIFICATION As required by Chapter 2271 of the Texas Local Government Code the Contractor must verify that it 1) does not boycott Israel; and 2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the Contract.   • No Storing Hazardous Articles Not to keep or store any offensive, combustible, obnoxious, hazardous or dangerous articles in the said Apartment, the Common Areas, and the Building.
