Developing Countries definition

Developing Countries means those countries described as “Developing Countries” on Appendix A.
Developing Countries means (i) those countries identified by the World Bank as of April 21, 2008 (i.e., the effective date of the collaborative research agreement between PVS and Company) as having “‘low-income economies” or “lower-middle income economies” and (ii) Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and South Africa, provided these five countries specifically listed herein are not reclassified as “high income economies” by the World Bank as of the date that the license is granted to PVS pursuant to this Agreement.
Developing Countries means beneficiary countries as referred to in Article 2 of Council Regulation (EC) No 980/2005 of 27 June 2005 applying a scheme of gener- alised tariff preferences (1);

More Definitions of Developing Countries

Developing Countries means those countries identified by the World Bank as of the Effective Date as having “low income economies,” or “lower-middle income economies” or “upper-middle income economies,” and which are set forth in Appendix C, attached hereto, as may be amended from time to time by the World Bank.
Developing Countries means those countries listed by the World Bank as “Low-Income Economies,” as such list may change from time to time. Solely by way of example, the Parties may mutually agree to revise royalty rates, adjust the fair market value, consider non-monetary consideration, and/or develop patent strategies in support of each party’s dedication to Global Social Responsibility.
