Common use of Illness and Disability Clause in Contracts

Illness and Disability. 8.0 At the beginning of each school year each teacher shall be credited with ten (10) days of leave, the unused portion of which shall accumulate from year to year to one hundred fifty-five (155) days pro-rated based on the teacher’s regularly scheduled work day/week. The leave days may be taken by a teacher for the following reasons and subject to the following conditions:

The leave days may be taken by a teacher for the following reasons and subject to the following conditions:: for personal illness or disability including illness caused by or contributed to by pregnancy, miscarriage, or abortion, childbirth and recovery; for attending to personal or family needs due to a death; or for attending to a member of the family who is ill.

At the beginning of each school year each teacher shall be credited with ten eight (10) 8) days of leave, the unused portion of which shall accumulate from year to year to a total of one hundred fifty(100) days. The Board of Education shall buy back the unused days over the 100 at the end of each year at the rate of $50.00 per day. The pay-five (155) days pro-rated based on the teacher’s regularly scheduled work day/weekoff shall be made no later than June 30th each school year. The leave days may be taken by a teacher for the following reasons and subject to the following conditions:

Illness and Disability. 8.0 At the beginning of each the school year each full-time teacher shall be credited with ten twelve (1012) days of leave. At the beginning of the school year, unused leave may be accumulated up to 12 days over the maximum of the number of teacher days in Article VI(D)(4). At the end of the school year, the accumulated unused portion sick leave may not be greater than the number of which shall accumulate from year to year to one hundred fifty-five (155) teacher days pro-rated based on the teacher’s regularly scheduled work day/week. The leave days may be taken by a teacher for the following reasons and subject to the following conditions:in Article VI(D)(4).
