Hijacking. This Policy is extended to cover the Person(s) Insured’s death, Permanent Disablement or any other loss arising from hijacking whilst the Person(s) Insured were traveling in an aircraft as a fare-paying passenger over established air routes in a fully licensed standard type aircraft owned and/or operated by an approved airline or on land transit as a fare-paying passenger subject to the General Exclusions.

Hijacking. Injuries suffered as a direct result of unlawful seizure or wrongful exercise on control of an aircraft, vessel, public conveyance (commonly known as hijacking) provided the Insured Person is not a participant in such unlawful act.
Hijacking. 12.1 Hijacking The Company will pay the Policyholder S$600 for each period of 24 consecutive hours that an Insured Person is forcibly or illegally detained as the result of a Hijack which occurs during a Business Trip, up to the maximum amount specified on the Policy Schedule. The Company will also pay for reasonable expenses of the Insured Person’s Partner for return travel to and accommodation in the area where the Insured Person is released, up to S$12,000 in total. As part of this special arrangement, the Company has a dedicated 24- hour crisis response contact telephone number which Insured Person or Insured Person’s family and friends may contact in the event of a Hijack. Details of the crisis hotline is as follows: Emergency Helpline: + 1 817 826 7000 This number is a dedicated crisis response contact hotline and should only be used for notification of an incident, situation or occurrence which may give rise to an event under section 12. Please provide the Insured Person’s name, the Policyholder’s name, this Policy number, the telephone number at which the Insured Person can be reached at and the nature of the assistance required upon contacting the crisis response team.

INTOXICATION This Policy is extended to cover the Person Insured’s death, Permanent Disablement or any other loss as a result of intoxication by alcohol or drugs except as prohibited by law and/or which must be consumed as prescribed by a Medical Practitioner. DROWNING, GAS INHALATION, SUFFOCATION BY SMOKE OR POISONOUS FUMES This Policy is extended to cover the Person Insured’s death, Permanent Disablement or any other loss arising out of or resulting from accidental drowning, gas inhalation or suffocation by smoke or poisonous fumes. HOW YOUR POLICY MAY BE CANCELLED You may cancel this Policy at any time by giving Us notice in writing. Such notification shall become effective from the date We receive the notice or the date specified in Your notice, whichever is later. We will refund the pro-rated premium to You for the unexpired Period of Insurance, provided no claims have been made under the Policy and subject to a minimum premium of RM60.00. We may cancel this Policy by giving You 14 days’ notice in writing to Your last email address or address known to Us, and refund the pro-rated premium to You for the unexpired Period of Insurance.   • Sabotage Sabotage is of concern to all Parties involved on any work site and may affect safety, and therefore both the physical and mental well being of all persons on site. The Parties to this Agreement will not tolerate sabotage, and will ensure that any person/s responsible for such action is immediately dismissed. It is accepted that the relevant authorities may have to be notified, and provisions of the OH&S Act implemented.

  • Accidents If a death, serious personal injury or substantial property damage occurs in connection with CONTRACTOR’s performance of this Agreement, CONTRACTOR shall immediately notify Mendocino County Risk Manager's Office by telephone. CONTRACTOR shall promptly submit to COUNTY a written report, in such form as may be required by COUNTY of all accidents which occur in connection with this Agreement. This report must include the following information: (1) name and address of the injured or deceased person(s); (2) name and address of CONTRACTOR's sub-contractor, if any; (3) name and address of CONTRACTOR's liability insurance carrier; and (4) a detailed description of the accident and whether any of COUNTY's equipment, tools, material, or staff were involved.
