HEALTH COMMISSIONER. The Health Commissioner is the lead health official for HCPH. During incident response, the Health Commissioner has the following responsibilities: • Inform Ohio Department of Health of actual or potential health emergencies. • Set policy and guidance for HCPH and HCPH jurisdictional service area health response. • Support and authorize the Incident Commander (IC) to lead agency response. • Monitor the response progress through briefings and updates on the situation. • Provide additional guidance and direction to HCPH response staff, as needed. • Represent HCPH, or assign a HCPH representative, at the Xxxxxxxx County EOC, as necessary • Engage the health commissioners from the cities of Cincinnati, Xxxxxxx and Springdale, as necessary. • Engage and brief the Southwest Ohio Public Health Regional (SWOPHR) leadership group, as necessary. • Engage Ohio Department of Health to request public health and medical resources support, if necessary.

  • Grievance Commissioner The Employer and Union may mutually agree in writing to invoke the Commissioner Process rather than proceed to arbitration as set out in this Collective Agreement. All cases referred to arbitration where an employee has a grievance concerning discipline will only be referred to a Grievance Commissioner if the Employer and the Union agree in writing on all the facts. The parties may also agree to group grievances before a single Grievance Commissioner. A Grievance Commissioner (where more than one, acting in rotation) will set aside such time as may be requested by the Employer and the Union to consider and determine grievances referred to them. A Grievance Commissioner shall have the same powers and be subject to the same limitations as a Board of Arbitration hereunder, save and except as expressly provided in 9.18 to 9.22 hereof.

  • Safety and Health Committee The District's Safety and Health Committee shall include three (3) classified staff members appointed by ECCE who shall fully participate in the duties and functions of the Committee. The Safety and Health Committee shall normally meet on a monthly basis.

  • Commissioner Chairman, Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. Contract Documents - The Contract Documents are complimentary, and what is required by one shall be as binding as if required by all. The edition of the Road and Bridge Specifications cited in the Invitation for Bid (Proposal) and Contract, which include addenda or Revisions issued prior to the Bid Date, the Supplemental Specifications, Special Provisions, Special Provision Copied Notes, the Plans, the Edition of the Road and Bridge Standard Drawings cited on the title sheet of the plans which include Addendum’s or Revisions issued prior to the Bid Date. Oral representations or promises will not be considered a part of the Contract. Any soils, geotechnical or other reports, surveys and analyses which may be made available to the Contractor for review or information under this Contract, are not adopted by reference into, nor are they part of the Contract Documents.

  • Health & Safety Committee The Employer agrees to establish a Health & Safety Committee for all employees of the company under the auspices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The Committee shall be made up of an equal number (not less than one each) of non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit persons who have completed their probationary period. The Union has the right to appoint the members representing the bargaining unit. The Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings and post them in the shop. One copy will be forwarded to the Union office.

  • Grievance Commissioner System This is to confirm the discussion of the parties during collective bargaining that they are committed to encouraging early discussion and resolution of labour relations issues at the local level and seek to resolve grievances in a timely and cost efficient manner. To that end, this is to confirm that pursuant to Article 8, the parties agree that the Employer and Union at individual nursing homes may agree to utilize the following process in order to resolve a particular grievance through the utilization of a joint mediation-arbitration procedure:

  • HEALTH CARE PLANS ‌ Notwithstanding the references to the Pacific Blue Cross Plans in this article, the parties agree that Employers, who are not currently providing benefits under the Pacific Blue Cross Plans may continue to provide the benefits through another carrier providing that the overall level of benefits is comparable to the level of benefits under the Pacific Blue Cross Plans.

  • Extended Health Care Plan (a) The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable Extended Health Care Plan.

  • Health and Safety Committee Where required a committee will be formed and will meet where required by the Employer’s safety policies and by statute.

  • Maternity Adoption and Parental Leave The following in part reflects the provisions of the Employment Standards Act on these matters. In all cases of dispute, and where the Act as amended from time to time is superior, the provisions of the Act will prevail.

  • Occupational Health & Safety Committee The parties agree to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and any other federal, provincial or municipal health and safety legislation and regulations. Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Employer agrees to accept as a member of its Occupational Health and Safety Committee, one representative selected or appointed by the Association from the bargaining unit. Such committee shall identify potential dangers and hazards, institute means of improving health and safety programs and recommend actions to be taken to improve conditions relating to occupational health and safety. Meetings shall be held every third month or more frequently if mutually agreed. The Committee shall maintain minutes of all meetings and make the same available for review.
