Common use of Grievance Appeal Clause in Contracts

Grievance Appeal. Grievances that contest the suspension or termination of a bargaining unit member shall be filed with the Deputy Chief of Human Resources within the time limits set forth in Section 10, after which the Union may proceed directly to Step Four of the grievance procedure.
