Graduation Honors. Beginning with the graduating class of 2023, Xxxxxxx ISD students may compete for Local Graduation Honors, including valedictorian and salutatorian based on the eligibility criteria set forth in the EIC (LOCAL) or other applicable policy(ies) of Canadian ISD as they currently exist, or are amended hereafter. For the 2020-21 school year, the former Xxxxxxx ISD students in the senior class with the two highest grade point averages will be recognized at graduation as the Top Ranking Higgins Graduate and Second Ranking Higgins Graduate. The Top Ranking Higgins Graduate will also receive the Higgins Top Ranking Student Scholarship at the Scholarship Tea Ceremony, to be presented by a representative from the Higgins Scholarship Committee.

  • Graduation 2. Student teaching outside of a reasonable commuting distance

  • Homework In addition to regular attendance at scheduled classes, each student will be required to devote additional time each week outside the classroom to study and work on assignments.

  • Stewards Stewards who attend Union/Management and Professional Responsibility Committee meetings outside of scheduled work hours shall be paid at straight time rates for time spent at the meetings.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer.   • School Day A. The length of the school day shall be seven (7) hours and five (5) minutes inclusive of the arrival and departure time.

  • Interns Any employee with three (3) or more year’s satisfactory experience shall have the right to request the assignment as supervising employee for an intern, or any other preservice student and the right to recommend the non-assignment of interns. At least ten (10) days prior to the date an intern is scheduled to report to the school center, the employee shall be notified when the intern is expected to report. Employees who have interns shall be given available background information, objectives, program requirements, other expectations, and the projected schedule for the intern.

  • School discipline The Parents accept the authority of the Headmaster and of other members of staff on the Headmaster's behalf to take all reasonable disciplinary or preventative action necessary to safeguard and promote the welfare of the Pupil and the School community as a whole. The School's policies on behaviour and discipline current at the time and published on the School website apply to all pupils at the School and at all times when the Pupil is in or at school, (including when engaged in online or remote learning), representing the School or wearing School uniform, travelling to or from School, on School-organised trips or associated with the School at any time. The policies shall also apply at all times and places in circumstances where failing to apply this policy may affect the health, safety or wellbeing of a member of the School community or a member of the public, have repercussions for the orderly running of the School or bring the School into disrepute.

  • Pupils 2.B The planned capacity of the Academy is 392 (plus a nursery of 24 full time equivalent places) in the age range 2-11. The Academy will be an all ability inclusive school. SEN unit

  • DISCIPLINE OF TEACHERS A. The Board may adopt rules and regulations not in conflict with the terms of this Agreement concerning the discipline of teachers.
