Common use of General Increase Clause in Contracts

General Increase. The overall increase is a pay increase that is agreed upon by the parties to a collective agreement in collective bargaining. The overall increase is paid at the time agreed by the parties to the collective agreement. The overall increase is paid to all employees who are in an employment relationship with an employer operating in a sector covered by the collective agreement. The employer pays the overall increase to all employees who are in an employment relationship at the time of the increase. The components of personal pay are explained to the employee in writing at the time of each overall increase. The amount of the overall increase is 26 cents/hour for hourly wage employees and 44.72 euros/month for monthly salaried employees as of the start of the closest pay period to 1 May 2025; 31 cents/hour for hourly wage employees and 53.32 euros/month for monthly salaried employees as of the start of the closest pay period to 1 May 2026; and 27 cents/hour for hourly wage employees and 46.44 euros/month for monthly salaried employees as of the start of the closest pay period to 1 May 2027.
