General and Miscellaneous Provisions. Section 1 – State Driver Certification Each driver, as a condition of continued employment, must be able to provide the Board with a valid certificate of course completion from the Michigan Department of Education, Section 305A, Act 300 P.A. 1949, as amended. As a condition for continued employment, each employee must submit proof that he/she is certified as required by law without obligation to the School District for payment for such certification. The District will schedule each driver to attend State certification sessions when available from the Public Transportation Department of KRESA. Attendance at these sessions is not covered by Article X, Section 2(B) (4) of this Agreement.
