Gather and Review Existing Information. FNI will compile readily available existing information and prepare maps of the proposed project site in preparation for the site visit. The types of information that will be gathered will include, but is not limited to, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) 7.5-minute topographic maps, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) maps, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) soils maps, as well as recent and historical aerial photographs of the site.
