Functions of the Board The functions of the Board are— to prepare joint management plans under Division 5A of Part 8A; to comment or make submissions to any person or body on matters affecting or concerning the use or management of the Appointed Land; to prepare policies about the Board and its operation and engagement with external parties; to provide advice and make recommendations to the Minister and the Secretary in relation to the management of the Appointed Land, including in relation to policies that affect the management of the Appointed Land; any other functions pursuant to section 82H of the Act in relation to the management functions conferred by management agreement or delegation to the Board; and to monitor and encourage compliance with and performance of the Joint Management Plan. Note: In addition to the functions specified above, the Board has the following management functions under section 82H of the Act—
