Formula for Part-time Hours. In determining the extent of the existing part-time relationship of an Employee at the time of resignation, layoff or other application of this program where the hours worked are not regular due to working additional shifts, the average of the Employee’s hours worked during the six (6) month period preceding the severance (or average over the preceding period of part-time employment where that period is less than six (6) months) will be used.
