For Students Taking Dual. Enrollment Courses for the First Time in Their Studies: In the case of a student’s initial dual enrollment course, if he/she obtains a ‘C’ in his/her first dual enrollment course, the student will be allowed to continue in the dual enrollment program contingent on a request from the counselor to continue eligibility based on: a) the offering of additional academic support from the school involved and b) the close monitoring of the student’s progress in the second dual enrollment course. If, however, a student earns a ‘C’ in another course taken during his/her semester as a first-time dual enrollment student (Special Note: consider that a college GPA of 3.0 has not been established), the student’s eligibility will be discontinued.
