FLEXIBLE LEAVE POLICY. (All Employees) Employees may use accrued personal leave, vacation, comp time, to respond to emergency needs for spouse or dependent*, such as illness, child care or elder care. The employee shall notify his/her supervisor immediately of the nature of the emergency. Approval for leaves under this policy shall not be unreasonably withheld. Advance approval for spouse or dependent illness is not required. * For purposes of this policy, a dependent is one who is a dependent pursuant to IRS regulations.
