FIXING POSTS. Straining posts shall be provided at all ends and changes of direction or level and in straight runs at intervals not exceeding 50 metres. Struts shall be fitted to straining post in the direction of each line of fencing. Intermediate posts shall be provided at intervals not exceeding 3 metres. Post and strut holes shall be excavated not less than 450 x 450 mm on plan: 600 mm deep for fences not exceeding 1400 mm high and 750 mm deep for fences exceeding 1400 mm high. Concrete bases shall be as specified and not less than half the depth of the post holes. Wires and fencing shall not exert strain until at least seven days after posts are fixed in bases.

  • VACANCIES AND JOB POSTINGS 17.01 When a job vacancy or vacancies occur within the bargaining unit and the Employer intends to fill the vacancy, the Employer will post an announcement of such vacancy or vacancies on all Union bulletin boards. Said postings shall remain posted for a period of five (5) working days. The announcement shall contain the job title of the vacancy, a brief job description and the rate of pay, and the date of the posting and bid deadline date.

  • Filling Positions ‌ The Employer will determine when a position will be filled, the type of appointment to be used when filling the position, and the skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the specific position within a job classification. Only those candidates who have the position-specific skills and abilities required to perform the duties of the vacant position will be referred for further consideration by the employing agency.

  • Calculation of Charges Contractor shall provide an invoice to the City on a monthly basis for goods delivered and/or Services completed in the immediate preceding month, unless a different schedule is set out in Appendix B, “Calculation of Charges.” Compensation shall be made for goods and/or Services identified in the invoice that the City, in his or her sole discretion, concludes has been satisfactorily performed.   • Vacancy Postings ‌ Where the Commission decides to fill a bargaining unit vacancy, it will be posted in accordance with this article unless otherwise specifically agreed to by the Union:

  • Vacancy Posting All vacancies shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each building of the district for a period of ten (10) workdays. Said posting shall contain the following information:

  • Step Movement During the period from September 1, 2009 through August 27, 2011, there shall be no non-probationary step movements, including any step movement provided for in other provisions of this Agreement. Step movement shall resume on August 28, 2011. Employees hired or promoted between September 1, 2009 and August 27, 2011 shall not receive a probationary step increase. Upon resumption of step movement, the employee’s step date shall be the employee’s date of hire or promotion. No retroactive movement shall occur for the two (2) years that have been skipped. Upon resumption of step movement, newly hired employees will move to the next step in their pay range after completion of their probationary period. In periods other than September 1, 2009 through August 27, 2011, newly hired employees hired on or after November 1, 2015 will move to the next step in the pay range after completion of one hundred eighty (180) days in active pay status, and every year thereafter provided the employee has successfully completed his/her probationary period.

  • Proration of calculations If less than total program funding is subject to interest calculation procedures, the resulting interest liability calculations shall be prorated to 100% of program funding.

  • Posting Vacancies 1. Vacancies that occur in certified positions shall be posted online for not less than five (5) working days prior to their being filled or advertised outside the district. The five- (5) day posting requirement may be suspended by the Administration on June 1 each year. The five-day posting requirement shall resume on the first day of October.
