Common use of Fixed Term Appointment Clause in Contracts

Fixed Term Appointment. ASF Members appointed to a fixed-term appointment as provided in Article 10, Section A, Subd. 1, shall be credited upon initial appointment with one (1) day of sick leave for each month of anticipated service. For purposes of this paragraph, if an ASF Member is initially hired to work one or more days during a calendar month, then that shall be deemed to be a month of anticipated service. If a Fixed-term appointment is extended beyond the initial period of anticipated service, the individual will earn four (4) additional hours of sick leave for each succeeding pay period of full time service.
