First Stage. The aggrieved employee shall present the grievance to his/her immediate supervisor, in writing. The immediate supervisor shall render his/her determination to the aggrieved employee within five working days of receipt of the written grievance. If such grievance is not satisfactorily resolved at this stage, the aggrieved employee may proceed to the second stage. If the grievance affects unit members in more than one building, same may be commenced at the Superintendent’s level.
