Common use of Firearm/Deadly Weapons Clause in Contracts

Firearm/Deadly Weapons. An employee shall not carry firearms or other dangerous weapons on his/her person during the performance of official duties or on work premises, except as specifically authorized by the Agency/Department head or his/her designee. An employee authorized to carry a firearm is forbidden to display it unnecessarily in public. All disciplinary actions will be taken in accordance with the provisions of applicable law or collective bargaining agreements.
