Extra Work and/or Changes. The TOWN DISTRICT may, at any time, by a written order, and without notice to the sureties, require the performance of such extra work or changes in the work as it may find necessary or desirable. The amount of compensation to be paid to the Contractor for any extra work, as so ordered, shall be determined as follows:
