Common use of Expiration of Term Clause in Contracts

Expiration of Term. Unless sooner terminated, Employee’s employment hereunder shall terminate automatically in accordance with Section 1(a) of this Agreement on the Expiration Date, unless otherwise agreed by the parties, in which case employment will continue on an at-will basis or pursuant to the terms of any subsequent agreement between Employee and the Company.

In the event that Employee remains employed by the partiesCompany following the Expiration Date, in which case such continued employment will continue with the Company shall be on an “at-will” basis and this Agreement will basis have no further effect on Employee’s employment or pursuant to the terms of any subsequent agreement between Employee and the Company’s obligations to Employee with respect to his employment or the termination thereof.
