Common use of Existing Systems Clause in Contracts

Existing Systems. Existing building systems, such as fire alarm, temperature controls and air distribution, security systems, public announcement systems, irrigation systems, and the like, shall be demonstrated and noted by Owner to the Contractor as operational prior to Contractor’s commencing the Work and Contractor may participate in observation of such systems. Such systems are the responsibility of the Contractor to maintain in pre-construction condition.
