Common use of Exclusive Bargaining Representative Clause in Contracts

Exclusive Bargaining Representative. The School District hereby recognizes the Association as the exclusive bargaining representative for all certificated personnel under the contract or to be employed under contract by the District, excluding: superintendent, assistant superintendent, principals, assistant principals, business manager, director of school and community relations, director of vocational education, athletic director, and supervisors within the meaning of the PERA. The term "teacher" when used hereinafter in this agreement, shall refer to all employees represented by the Association in the bargaining or negotiating unit as above defined, and references to male teachers shall include female teachers.
