Environmental Incident Reporting Sample Clauses
The Environmental Incident Reporting clause requires parties to promptly notify relevant stakeholders about any environmental incidents that occur during the course of their activities. Typically, this involves detailing the nature, time, and impact of the incident, as well as the steps taken to mitigate harm and prevent recurrence. By mandating timely and transparent communication, this clause ensures that environmental risks are managed effectively and that all parties can respond appropriately to minimize damage and comply with regulatory obligations.
Environmental Incident Reporting. Without limiting the Owner’s obligations under Clause 15, the Owner must immediately and no later than one hour after becoming aware of any Pollution Incident give written notice to Port of Melbourne and Melbourne VTS of the occurrence of such a Pollution Incident.

(c) The End User must ensure that the Operator notifies all relevant Environmental Regulators of the occurrence of any Environmental Incident which is caused, or contributed to, by the End User or the Operator in accordance with the Operator’s obligations under Environmental Laws.
(d) If Aurizon Network is uncertain about whether the End User has reported the occurrence of an Environmental Incident to an Environmental Regulator in accordance with clause 25.9(b), Aurizon Network may report the occurrence of the Environmental Incident to any relevant Environmental Regulator.
(e) In the event that an Environment Regulator requires information, or undertakes an investigation, in relation to an Environmental Incident, the Parties must cooperate, and the End User must ensure that the Operator, cooperates, with the Environmental Regulator and provide appropriate resources to comply with any lawful requirements of the Environmental Regulator in relation to the Environmental Incident.
