Common use of Employee Contributions to Insurance Coverages Clause in Contracts

Employee Contributions to Insurance Coverages. 12.4.1 The premium cost for medical insurance dependent coverage for each eligible employee who elects such coverage, and who has been regularly employed by the District for the required waiting period, will be paid to the extent possible after the payment of the premiums specified above, as long as the total contribution of the District for all types of premium cost does not exceed the monthly limit stated in this section. The remaining portion of the premium cost for dependent coverage shall be paid by the employee by means of payroll deduction.
