Common use of Emergency Condition Clause in Contracts

Emergency Condition. Where there is an emergency condition, upon mutual agreement between the person who should answer the grievance at each step and Local 92, any step or steps in this procedure may be combined to accelerate the resolution of the emergency condition. Each person responsible to answer at each step shall make an immediate decision as to whether the grievance is to be advanced. When there is an agreement at the Second Step that an emergency condition exists, it shall proceed as an emergency through the remaining steps of the grievance procedure.
