Effective Date and Terms of Basic Agreement. The effective date of this Agreement between the Parties shall be the date approved by DoD Field Advisory Service (FAS). The agreement will remain in full force for a period of three (3) years from the date of approval by FAS. This agreement shall automatically be renewed for a three (3) year period, unless either Party gives written notice to the other between 105 and 60 calendar days prior to the expiration date of their desire to renegotiate the Agreement. If such notice is given and the Parties fail to complete negotiations with final signing by the expiration date, only those articles of the Agreement that derive their authority directly from Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act will remain in effect.
