Effect of Leave of Absence. WITHOUT PAY UPON COMPENSATION Time spent on a leave of absence without pay of ten (10) or less consecutive workdays shall not affect the pay adjustment eligibility during a rating period. Such leaves in excess of ten (10) consecutive working days may affect eligibility during a rating period at the discretion of the Appointing Authority in a manner consistent with state and federal law.
