Common use of Duty Year Clause in Contracts

Duty Year. Annual appointments will consist of a twelve (12) month, salaried, duty- year, starting July 1st and ending June 30th and run concurrently with the Fiscal Year. Except as explicitly provided in this subdivision, annual appointments are not subject to the provisions of Article 10, Section D. Initial appointments begin on the first day of employment and run through June 30th. Coaches with annual appointments shall receive holidays as provided in Section D, Subd. 1 and shall additionally receive Juneteenth and Independence Day (July 4th) as holidays.
