Common use of Dues Rate Clause in Contracts

Dues Rate. The Association will notify the Department, in writing, the current rate of membership dues. The Department will be notified of any change in the rate of membership dues thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of such change. Any retroactivity will be effective from July 1st. Notwithstanding 6.1 above, the Department may require the submission of new deduction authorizations when the Association increases its membership dues by at least ⅓ during any 12 consecutive month period.
