Drivers Work Week). If the District finds it necessary to change the normal workweek for individual positions, the District will confer with the Union relative to such changes. If an employee(s) is required by the Employer to work during this lunch period, the employee shall be paid.
Drivers Work Week). For the purpose of bidding extra work, Transportation uses Monday through Saturday to bid up to a forty (40) hour work week. Drivers may bid on any Sunday or overnight trips regardless of accumulated hours.
Drivers Work Week). (a) The regular work week shall consist of a four (4) day work week consisting of ten (10) hours work per day. The Company may schedule variable shift durations of up to eleven (11) hours per shift, but not exceeding forty (40) hours in the week. Sunday shall be all such employees regular day off. Where possible, two (2) consecutive days, as determined by the Company, shall be schedule as days off. The Company shall post a schedule of regular days off for all Driver Employees at the beginning of each month. (c) Notwithstanding the above, a Driver shall be considered to have completed their regular day’s work when they have completed their assigned route. (d) The assignment of overtime work will be made amongst the employees possessing the ability and qualifications to perform the required work by first asking the employee in order of seniority throughout the department until the required number of workers is obtained. Failing this, the assignment will be made by selecting the junior employee possessing the ability and qualifications to perform the required work. (e) In weeks where a Statutory holiday occurs, the Company may, at its discretion, change the normal day off, for selected employees, to be the same day as the Statutory holiday. In this situation, the employee would be entitled to another day off, with pay, at a time mutually agreed with the Company.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.

  • Basic Work Week ‌ a) The basic work week of an employee working full- time shall be forty (40) hours consisting of five eight hour days; b) Daily hours of work shall be consecutive with the exception of rest and meal periods. No split shifts shall be worked; c) Employees shall not work longer than their regular, scheduled work day, unless requested to do so by Management; in which event, additional time will be paid at applicable regular or overtime rates. Employees are required to leave the store as soon as it is reasonable to do so.
