Dovetailing of Seniority for Employees Moving Persons moving under the conditions of Sections 9.1 or 9.2 will dovetail their seniority dates with those persons already employed at the terminal to which they moved.

  • Role of Seniority A reduction in force shall be based on seniority within a department, discipline or specialty, provided that the senior staff have appropriate qualifications and are providing satisfactory service. Whenever possible, an employee shall be given an opportunity to serve the College in some other capacity for which he/she is qualified.
