Distribution of the Individual Net Settlement Amounts to the Class Members Sample Clauses

Distribution of the Individual Net Settlement Amounts to the Class Members. The Settlement Administrator shall distribute the Individual Net Settlement Amounts to Class Members by issuing and mailing a check to each Class Member within forty-five (45) calendar days after the Effective Date. Checks will be mailed by the Settlement Administrator to the last known mailing address as identified in the list provided by JPMC pursuant to paragraph 7.4 below or as updated by the Settlement Administrator through its standard practices when sending Notice or as updated by a Class Member. Checks shall be valid for 180 days. If the Settlement Administrator receives any checks returned as undeliverable by the United States Postal Service, the Settlement Administrator will use reasonable efforts to locate the current address of the Class Member and re-mail the check accordingly. The Settlement Administrator shall not be required to send a check by mail to any Class Member whose last known street address, as updated through the National Change of Address registry, is determined to be undeliverable pursuant to one of the following mailing codes: F (foreign move, no new address available), G (postal box closed, no new address available), or K (move, left no forwarding address). The Parties recognize that one purpose of sending Notice to Class Members of the Settlement is to inform Class Members that they will be receiving a portion of the Net Settlement Amount through the Settlement. Therefore, no additional notice or an explanation of why Class Members are receiving a portion of the Net Settlement Amount is required.
