Settlement Class definition

Settlement Class means, in respect of each Proceeding, the settlement class defined in Schedule A.
Settlement Class means the class described in Section II(E)(2) below.
Settlement Class means the class described in Section II(F)(3) below.

Examples of Settlement Class in a sentence

  • Any amount not approved by the Court will become part of the Net Settlement Fund to be distributed to Claiming Settlement Class Members.

  • Accordingly, no Released Person shall be subject to liability or expense of any kind to any Settlement Class Member with respect to any Released Claims, other than as set forth in this Agreement.

  • The objection shall set forth the reasons for the Settlement Class Member's objection.

  • Upon Final Approval, all Settlement Class Members shall be enjoined from filing or becoming part of any action, including, without limitation, any putative class actions, filed against the Released Persons or any other person or entity, and that relate the subject matter of the instant action, specifically the acts that took place in December 2021, insofar as those actions implicate any of the Released Claims or otherwise interfere with this Agreement or the settlement of the class action claims generally.

  • The objection must be signed by the Settlement Class Member, or the objector's duly authorized representative (including attorney), and state (i) the objector's name and address, (ii) all bases claimed for membership in the Settlement Class, (iii) whether the objector plans to appear at the Final Fairness Hearing, and (iv) the reason or reasons for the objection, along with whatever legal authority, if any, the objector asserts supports the objection.


More Definitions of Settlement Class

Settlement Class or “Settlement Class Members” means all Class Members that do not Opt-Out of the Settlement.
Settlement Class means all persons who participated in the Plan at any time during the Class Period, including any Beneficiary of a deceased person who participated in the Plan at any time during the Class Period, and/or Alternate Payee, in the case of a person subject to a Qualified Domestic Relations Order who participated in the Plan at any time during the Class Period.
Settlement Class or “Settlement Class Members
Settlement Class means all Persons who fall within the definition of the class identified in Section III, Paragraph A.
Settlement Class means all Persons included in the Ontario Settlement Class, the Quebec Settlement Class and the BC Settlement Class.
Settlement Class or “Settlement Class Members” shall mean all persons who are members of the Class who do not timely and validly request exclusion from the Settlement Class. The persons comprising the Settlement Class shall be identified by name and mail address on the confidential Class List to be created by the Settlement Administrator.
Settlement Class. “Class Member,” or “Settlement Class Member” shall mean each member of the settlement class, as defined in Section III of this Agreement, who does not timely elect to be excluded from the Settlement Class, and includes, but is not limited to, Plaintiff.
