Common use of Dispatcher’s Inquiry Clause in Contracts

Dispatcher’s Inquiry. Before offering any job assignment the dispatcher’s first statement to an employee for job assignments will be, “Are you available for work today”? If the employee says “no” due to illness or any other reason they must immediately inform the dispatcher. The dispatcher will enter this information in the dispatch log as an employee request for a day off using the appropriate leave.
