Common use of Dismissal for Misconduct Clause in Contracts

Dismissal for Misconduct. Where, in the opinion of the employer, the conduct of an employee is such as to warrant dismissal, the employee shall be advised via a letter from the Director of the Department. The letter shall outline the reason for the dismissal and the effective date. Such letter shall be supplied to the Union and the City Manager.
