Common use of Disciplinary Meeting Clause in Contracts

Disciplinary Meeting. (a) An Employee shall be informed of her right to have a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ present at a meeting convened by the Employer with the Employee for the purpose of taking disciplinary action. If the Employee chooses to exercise this right and a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is not available, she may elect to have another Employee who is immediately available attend the meeting. (b) It is recognized that it may be necessary to convene a meeting with an Employee for the purpose of taking disciplinary action without the presence of a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or another Employee. In such cases the Branch Local President will be notified as soon as possible after the meeting.
