The District and the Union agree that the principles of progressive discipline shall be followed and any discipline shall be fitting for the violation or infraction of working conditions. The parties further understand and agree, however, that due to the nature or circumstances of some offenses, progressive discipline may include immediate suspension and/or termination.

Discharges May Be Modified. The District Board and the Union agree that the principles of progressive discipline shall be followed and any discipline shall be followed and any discipline shall be fitting for the violation or infraction of working conditions. If arbitration should be involved, the arbitrator may modify a penalty if he feels the severity of the infraction does not warrant the discipline ordered by the Board. The parties further understand and agree, however, that due to the nature or circumstances of some offenses, progressive discipline may include immediate suspension and/or termination.
