The 'Directed additional hours' clause establishes the conditions under which an employer can require an employee to work extra hours beyond their standard schedule. Directed additional hours. If an employee is directed to work additional hours (as defined) he or she shall be paid at the following rates – Monday to Friday - time and one half of the base rate prescribed in Column A in Schedule 1 for the first two hours and double time thereafter. Saturday – time and three quarters of the base rate prescribed in Column A in Schedule 1 for the first two hours and double time thereafter. Sunday – double time of the base rate prescribed in Column A in Schedule 1.
