Extended Health Plan (a) The Employer will pay 100% of the monthly premiums for the extended health care plan that will cover the employee, their spouse and dependent children, provided they are not enrolled in another plan.
Extended Health Care Plan (a) The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable Extended Health Care Plan.
Health Promotion and Health Education Both parties to this Agreement recognize the value and importance of health promotion and health education programs. Such programs can assist employees and their dependents to maintain and enhance their health, and to make appropriate use of the health care system. To work toward these goals:
HEALTH PROGRAM 3701 Health examinations required by the Employer shall be provided by the Employer and shall be at the expense of the Employer. 3702 Time off without loss of regular pay shall be allowed at a time determined by the Employer for such medical examinations and laboratory tests, provided that these are performed on the Employer’s premises, or at a facility designated by the Employer. 3703 With the approval of the Employer, a nurse may choose to be examined by a physician of her/his own choice, at her/his own expense, as long as the Employer receives a statement as to the fitness of the nurse from the physician. 3704 Time off for medical and dental examinations and/or treatments may be granted and such time off, including necessary travel time, shall be chargeable against accumulated income protection benefits.
Extended Health Care i) Effective July 1, 2004 the annual Extended Health Care deductible will be increased to fifty dollars ($50.00) for single or family coverage.
Extended Health Care Benefits 12.02(a) The City will provide for all employees by contract through an insurer selected by the City an Extended Health Care Plan which will provide extended health care benefits. The City shall pay one hundred per cent (100%) of the premiums, which will include any premiums payable under The Health Insurance Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended. MEDICALLY FRAGILE STUDENTS 1. If a teacher will be providing instructional or other services to a medically fragile student, the teacher or another adult who will be present when the instruction or other services are being provided will be advised of the steps to be taken in the event an emergency arises relating to the student's medical condition.
Extended Health Fifty percent (50%) of the billed premium towards coverage of eligible nurses in the active employ for the Extended Health Care Benefits as provided under the VON National Group Insurance Plan, provided that the balance of the premium is paid by each nurse through payroll deductions.
Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members.
