The Dependent Care Program clause establishes the terms under which an employer provides benefits or reimbursement for expenses related to the care of an employee’s dependents, such as children or elderly family members. Dependent Care Program. The AP agrees to maintain for all eligible employees a qualified tax-exempt Dependent Care Program. The plan, which is subject to federal, state and local tax regulations, currently permits participants to set aside on a tax-deferred basis up to a salary amount allowed by federal law to be used to pay for day care costs for their children or for disabled parents. Employees who miss the annual enrollment deadline forfeit participation in the plan until the following year’s open enrollment period. New hires can enroll within 31 days of hire. All employees may enroll/change their election within 31 days of the birth or adoption of a baby.

  • Dependent Care The College will make available to employees, at their option, an Internal Revenue Service Code Section 129 Dependent Care plan. The plan will be established, administered, and communicated to employees by the State without cost to the employees.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • Vision Care Plan The County agrees to provide a Vision Care Plan for all employees and dependents. The Plan will be the Vision Service Plan - Plan A with benefits at 12/12/24 month intervals with twenty dollar ($20.00) deductible for examinations and twenty dollar ($20.00) deductible for materials. The County will fully pay the monthly premium for employee and dependents and pick up inflationary costs during the term of this agreement.

  • Dental Care Plan The Welfare Plan will include a Dental Care Plan which will reimburse members for expenses incurred in respect of the coverages summarized in Appendix "1". The Plan will not duplicate benefits provided now or which may be provided in the future by any government program.

  • Dependent Child If dependent children are covered under separate plans of more than one person, whether a parent or guardian, benefits for the child will be determined in the following order: • the benefits of the plan covering the parent born earlier in the year will be determined before those of the parent whose birthday (month and day only) falls later in the year; • if both parents have the same birthday, the benefits of the plan that covered the parent longer are determined before those of the plan which covered the other parent for a shorter period of time; • if the other plan does not determine benefits according to the parents' birth dates, but by parents' gender instead, the other plan’s gender rule will determine the order of benefits.
