Definition of Immediate Family. Immediate Family includes: (a) spouse (including a former spouse, a de-facto spouse and a former de-facto spouse) of the Employee. For the purposes of this Agreement, a de-facto spouse includes a person of the same sex to the Employee who lives with the Employee as their partner on a bona fide domestic basis; and (b) child or adult child (including an adopted child, a stepchild or an ex-nuptial child), parent, grandparent, grandchild or sibling, of the Employee or the Employee’s spouse (including a former spouse, a de facto spouse and a former de-facto spouse).
