Consecutive Weekends. No employee will be compelled to accept standby on two (2) consecutive weekends or on two (2) consecutive holiday weekends.

Consecutive Weekends. The Employer will make all reasonable efforts to schedule employees so that they have at least every other weekend off. In the event that an employee is required to work on two (2) consecutive weekends, all time worked on the second weekend will be paid for at the rate of 1½ times the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay. The next regularly scheduled weekend will be paid at the employee’s regular rate of pay. For purposes of this provision, the weekend is defined as commencing at 23:00 on Friday and concluding at 23:30 on Sunday. This paragraph shall not apply to Per Diem employees and if the employee voluntarily agrees to work on the weekend either at the time of hire or thereafter (including any trading of weekend work). A weekend is defined as Saturday and Sunday for the first and second shifts; and, for the third shift, Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, as designated by Peace Harbor upon a caregiver’s employment or subsequently upon a caregiver’s change of unit, hours or position title.
Consecutive Weekends. On any consecutive weekend which is not a regularly scheduled weekend for the nurse, provided that a nurse shall not be eligible for premium pay under this provision more frequently than every other weekend. A nurse shall not be regularly scheduled to work consecutive weekends.
Consecutive Weekends. The Employer will schedule each employee five (5) consecutive days off at either Christmas or New Year's on an alternating basis from year to year. In the event that nurses can be granted both Christmas and New Year’s Day off the most senior nurse, on a rotating basis, who has requested these days off shall be given the opportunity to take both off. For those employees who have been granted time off at Christmas, the Employer will endeavour to provide Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day off. For those employees who have been granted time off at New Year's, the Employer will endeavour to provide New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day off. In the event of conflict, bargaining unit seniority shall be the decisive factor. Written requests for this time off must be received by the Director of Resident Care by November 1. Christmas and New Year's time off shall be posted by November 15. Regular scheduling may be waived from the 15 of December to the 15 of January in order to accommodate the employees during this period. At the request of the employee, the five (5) consecutive days off may be scheduled during the period of December 15 to January 15 to facilitate their cultural differences replacing the days off noted above. An employee may also request to waive their entitlement to five (5) consecutive days off, provided that the Employer agrees to the request.
Consecutive Weekends. All hours worked on a regularly scheduled nurse’s second (not regularly scheduled) consecutive weekend of work. The third consecutive weekend worked, if applicable, shall be paid at the regular rate of pay. A per diem nurse who is working at least 20 hours per week during a sustained time period shall receive such premium pay on the nurse’s third consecutive weekend of work (and each third consecutive weekend of work thereafter). Nurses may agree in writing to waive consecutive weekend premium pay.

Consecutive Weekends. If a full-time or part-time nurse agrees, at the Hospital’s request, to work on a scheduled weekend off, the nurse shall receive time and one-half (1½ x) the nurse’s regular rate of pay for all time worked on the nurse’s scheduled weekend off. The nurse must obtain written approval from the Director of Nursing or his/her designee, on his/her timesheet, in order to be paid time and one-half for working consecutive weekends.‌ This section shall not apply to nurses who voluntarily agree to more frequent weekend duty or altered weekend duty. The weekend for day shift begins at the start of the day shift on Saturday and ends at the beginning of the night shift on Sunday. The weekend for the night shift begins at the beginning of the night shift on Friday and ends at the beginning of the day shift on Monday.

The above will not apply for part-time employees working existing shifts of less than uly cents three (3) hours duration.
