Commissioned Duties. Commissioned Police Officers exclusively shall be assigned: Arson, Auto Theft, Bike Patrol, EOD Canine Handler, Boise State University Officers, Canine Handler, Checks & Fraud, Child Abuse, Clandestine Lab, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Community Oriented Policing, Computer Forensics, Gang Intelligence Officer, Night STEP, SRO, STEP, Criminal Intelligence Officer, Crime Scene Investigator, Crimes Against Persons, Crimes Against Property, Crisis Negotiation Expert, Crowd Intervention Team, Domestic Violence, Drug Recognition Expert, ESRO, Explosive Ordinance Detail, Field Training Officer, Motorcycle Patrol, Narcotics, Criminal Polygraph, and the Special Operations Unit. Such assignments or positions shall not be civilianized, except as defined in (a) above.

  • Civic Duties An employee who is late for work as a result of duties as a volunteer fire fighter or licensed ambulance attendant or licensed rescue squad attendant, shall be granted use of annual leave and/or accrued compensatory leave to cover the period of lateness, provided that performance of said duties may be verified by the Employer.
