College Authorized Career Development. Career Development is considered College-authorized when it is voluntary, initiated by the employee, and approved by the College. When the College authorizes an employee to enrol in a course, training program or seminar, for the purpose of advancing the employee's job related skills; and upon successful completion, the College shall reimburse the cost, including tuition, entrance or registration fee, laboratory fee, examination fee, and course related books. The length of the course shall be stated in the written authorization.
